Audio/Visual Media Ministry

4th Saturdays @ 9:30a

As the Audio/Visual Media Ministry it is our call to allow the worship leaders to minister to the Body of Christ, and to reach lost souls. To achieve this goal, we agree to minister behind the scenes in providing for and anticipating the technical, physical, and spiritual needs of the ministry leaders.

We must also commit ourselves to the Study and Involvement of the ministry. In doing so we ensure that Gods word will go forth unimpeded to reach the ears, eyes and heart of both the Body of Christ, and the unsaved. As the Media Ministry Team we must invest ourselves in the study of what we have been called to do. Not to be Perfect, yet to be Faithful in Service.

Child Development Center

Advisory Board 3rd Mondays @ 6:30p

The Mount Peace CDC Staff welcomes you and your child to our Child Development Program. We offer state licensed year-round care for infants (6 weeks) to school age. We are dedicated to the development of the whole child. We provide a safe nurturing, and Christian environment to meet the academic, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of each child.

The CDC is a ministry of Mount Peace with the capacity to serve 88 children. The center is designed to provide the best possible child care service for our children. Our hours of operation have been established to accommodate various working schedules. A calendar of holiday closings and teacher workdays will be given annually.

First Aid/Health Ministry

2nd Wednesdays @ 6p

The First Aid Ministry provides a variety of services to the church congregation and also to the community. The First Aid Ministry promotes and assists in maintaining physical, emotional and mental health. First Aid does not replace the medical expertise or the advice of anyones personal physician. The goal is to offer simple medical assistance and to help any individual in a medical situation until they are stabilized or until EMS arrives. We welcome all interested persons who are willing to work. First Aid is looking for people who will be attentive to the congregation and will go when and where they are needed. First Aid not only plans to function in the church community, but to be active participants in the surrounding community in the very near future. All suggestions, comments and assistance are always appreciated and welcome.

Greeter's Ministry

1st Saturdays  @ 10a (Feb/Jul/Dec)

Men's Fellowship

1st Tuesdays @ 7:30p

Mens Fellowship Pledge - I am persuaded by the teaching of the blessed Bible - by daily readings, meditation and communion with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - to live an upright Christian life, to practice His teachings in my dealings with my fellow man - to dedicate my talents and give of my time, to influence and means to teachings or spreading the Christian Religion at home and abroad - to win souls through personal service for people in Christian work - and to make my home a center of Christian light and love. To these ends - I pledge - to devote myself and seek divine aid and guidance, daily, that I may become a living witness and a bright and shining light for my Lord.

Music Ministry

Brother Tony Williams

The Music Ministry is steadily growing and pressing toward the mark of the prize of the high calling in Jesus Christ through our Minister of Music, Tony Williams under the leadership and vision of our Pastor, Rev. J. Vincent Terry. One will find that our Pastor, Minister of Music, musicians, and choirs are a team effort. The charge of the church choirs is to LEAD the congregation in song during devotion and worship services as we lead to Christ. Choir disciples must be disciples of the church (the Youth Choir is the only exception), have a desire to sing, and show dedication and commitment to being ambassadors for Christ through song. - Male Chorus | Ensemble | Voices of Peace

New Disciple Orientation

1st Wednesday - 6p/1st Saturday - 9a

As a new ministry of Mount Peace, The New Disciple Orientation Ministry offers an inside look as to the order of church worship service. The orientation classes are held the first Wednesday evening and first Saturday morning of the month. Sister Markette Hester, who heads the NDOM states that the class is not only for new disciples but highly encourage seasoned members to come out and refresh themselves as we all worship on one accord before the Father. As new disciples join the church, they are given a choice to attend Wednesday or Saturday class for one hour only. The ministry has given many a new respect to the obedience of church order and the importance of being on time for worship service as stated by a member who completed the class in May. In the month of May, The New Disciple Orientation Ministry presented 28 new members certificate of achievement. To God be the Glory!

Single-at-Peace

2nd  Fridays at 7p

The Singles Ministry (often called SAP) focuses on the never married, the divorced and the widowed. Our mission is to provide an avenue where single adults will grow in their knowledge of and devotion to God that will in turn impact the surrounding community and the world for Christ. Through the Singles Ministry, we want to cultivate ones passion for God and a lost world and to equip single Christians with a vision and ability for ministry. Our goal is to help singles become aware of their significance and purpose in Christ. Further, the goal of this ministry is to promote greater fellowship among single Christians. It is our desire to bring wholeness and increased spirituality to single Christians and to provide interaction between single Christians in order to support and help each other. We strive to educate the single Christians on Gods expectations of them as single people in this present day world. Ultimately, we want to persuade singles to (Let nothing separate them from the Love of God) according to the Romans Ch 8.
